Description
“One of the ways you build self-esteem is by being self-assertive when it is not easy to do so. There are always times when self-assertiveness requires courage, no matter how high your self-esteem.” Nathaniel Branden
There are solid links between self confidence and assertiveness. People often say “be more assertive”; but, how do you actually do that? Mastering the skills to put your ideas and input forward is extremely important; since, having the ability to agree or disagree, to join in or opt out without causing any negative feelings gives people the right balance between being assertive without appearing “pushy” to others. Being able to communicate confidently and assertively is not only a prerequisite for success in the workplace; but also, outside of the workplace.
This comprehensive Assertiveness and Self-Confidence course is directed to provide participants the skills needed to raise their self worth and empowers them with the confidence to assert themselves in any situation without feeling or appearing rude. Additionally, students learn and develop techniques to communicate in a polite yet assertive way and get their point across when required.
