Description
For event planners and managers, communication and presentation skills are a core part of their business personality, since these “tools of the trade” allow them to become real assets to their organizations. Key workplace communication skills include gathering, conveying and receiving information together with completing routine correspondence and presenting topics or products in a clear and attractive fashion.
The focus of this course is to help participants to become aware of their present ways of communicating and to build on the communication and presentation skills needed to excel in the workplace.
During the training, students are exposed to the principles of active communication and the effective presentation fundamentals needed to excel in the workplace. Furthermore, participants receive practical step-by-step advice that helps them to shape their messages, empowers them to engage in meaningful conversations; and gives them the confidence to handle challenging situations. A dynamic and experiential learning approach is used throughout the course, which provides students with the specific skills and directions required to become comfortable with their own presentation style. Creating a compelling message, using various types of visual aids, and engaging the audience interaction are some of the topics included in the course content.
