Description
Under the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of Ontario, most agreements for a product or service that costs more than $50.00 must be in writing. Contracts are different depending on their purpose. But under the Consumer Protection Act, all contracts must contain common details to make sure the rights of the contracting parties are protected.
Contract Law for Non-Lawyers is a practical course that will take the participants in a path to discover the essentials of contract law, the elements that are required for a contract to be legally binding, as well as, the types of contracts protected by regulations.
Furthermore, this short but intensive course will allow the training participants to learn the critical ingredients required for a good contract, and how and when a contact can be canceled.
